Rona Fields, Ph.D .

Dr. Rona M. Fields has ben a practicing clinical psychologist in the DC Metropolitan area since 1977.  She has been affiliated with MOntgomery County Public Schools as an administrative psychologist in developing the program for compliance first with PL94-142 and then the LEAA. Her practice in Alexandria included developing programs of psychological services for  the courts, the correctional center as well as families and individuals in her office. In the District of Columbia she was the team psychologist on the interdisciplinary clinical team that evaluated and treated children and their families with children  who have special needs, youngsters in the juvenile justice system,and children, adults and geriatric patients. She has been on he faculty and a Senior Research Fellow at George Washington University, Howard University, George Mason University and several universities abroad. Her publications include seven books, many chapters in books and professional and mainstream publications and multi-media productions. She is President of the District of Columbia Psychological Association and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. She is  licensed Clinical Psychologist in DC and VA and is on several insurance panels.
