DCPA offers membership categories to include the wide range of people who dedicate themselves to psychology. Whether you're a doctoral degree holder, a psychology student, or a psychology teacher, you'll find a membership category that's right for you.

Doctoral degree holders can qualify for the DCPA Member category. First year doctoral student and second year doctoral student qualify for reduced rate membership.

If you're an academic Member (AM) with no clinical or consulting income you qualify for $50 discount on your membership. DCPA has other options for Graduate and undergraduate students in psychology who wish to become Student Affiliates. All student affilates can become affilate members of DCPA for only $35 per year. Other affilates such as Associate Master, Professional, or Out of town (outside DC MD & VA) can also become members of DCPA at reduced rate per year.

Finally, we offer a generous rate for members who have been with DCPA for 10 or more or if they are over 70 years of age.

And recognizing the importance of early training to the profession, DCPA has an affiliate program for people identified with a level of understanding psychology.
